If you want the short answer, just start at Ah but anyway near the bottom.

Back when Nintendo first decided it wanted to come out with disk based games, they were gonna go with sony, and make a "Nintendo Playstation". But... things went wrong, and Sony took what they had, and went off to do something with it, (I hear they're highly successful now in the game development department, but don't quote me on that...) And then Nintendo wanted to try again with Phillips. More crap went down, and the deal was called off. As a show of no hard feelings, Nintendo allowed Phillips and their new console(the CD-i) to make a couple Zelda titles. They also were allowed to make ONE Mario game. However, the deadline for the Zelda games was horribly short, and the two they made, almost simultaniously were terrible rush jobs. Zelda, the Wand of Gamelon, and Link, the Faces of Evil. They had crappy control schemes, and looked generally bad. The worst part, however, were the cutscenes. Animated, and voice acted cutscenes. Watching them at first will reduce you to utmost agony. After you get used to the negative effects, you can barely watch them anyway. Both of the game's cutscene look like Zelda on acid. I freaking mean that literally. And there are a quite a few lines that are SO bad, that they become memorable.

I might post more CD-i bios if I feel like it. I'd tell you to look the titles up on YouTube, but only ruskie commie bastards watch videos on YouTube.
